While trying to find an antiques store on Mass Ave, we ran across this building, St. John the Evangelist Church. It happened to be near a bus stop we waited at for about 10 minutes so I thought I’d take some pictures. I don’t know anything about the church (I actually looked up the name of it on Google Maps after the fact). It just looked pretty! I thought the teal door and the blue windows were intriguing. I’m going to be starting a new section on my blog called “Things to See in Boston”. I’m sure you have no idea what these posts will be about right? Well, I just thought that since I’ll be here for a while I would post about some things that I think are worth visiting while in the Boston area. They may not be Boston’s main attractions (although some may be) but they will be things that I think are interesting and would likely be interesting to other people. These posts will most likely be heavy on images and light on text, however, I’ll list some reasons why you may want to visit.

These beautiful Brazillian Lilies have been in the kitchen for the last few days. They are so beautiful! The way the light hits them in the morning really accentuates the deep pink spots on the leaves and makes the white so bright and elegant. Read more →
Last week I got a chance to photograph some cute little opera cakes that Cassidy Budge made. They were so cute! When she told me they were about an inch I thought they must be bigger. Sorry I’ve been off the grid for a little while. We’ve been off on some fun adventures in the past few weeks. We started with a weekend trip to Yellowstone. Canon was doing a free workshop where you could learn about photography as well as try out their equipment.
