While trying to find an antiques store on Mass Ave, we ran across this building, St. John the Evangelist Church. It happened to be near a bus stop we waited at for about 10 minutes so I thought I’d take some pictures. I don’t know anything about the church (I actually looked up the name of it on Google Maps after the fact). It just looked pretty! I thought the teal door and the blue windows were intriguing. I’m going to be starting a new section on my blog called “Things to See in Boston”. I’m sure you have no idea what these posts will be about right? Well, I just thought that since I’ll be here for a while I would post about some things that I think are worth visiting while in the Boston area. They may not be Boston’s main attractions (although some may be) but they will be things that I think are interesting and would likely be interesting to other people. These posts will most likely be heavy on images and light on text, however, I’ll list some reasons why you may want to visit.

These beautiful Brazillian Lilies have been in the kitchen for the last few days. They are so beautiful! The way the light hits them in the morning really accentuates the deep pink spots on the leaves and makes the white so bright and elegant. Read more →

A couple days ago I was out in the “French Garden” at my parents house. I had noticed the poppies were looking really pretty and went out to photograph them. While I was photographing one I saw this bee going from flower to flower and decided to film it for a minute. I ended up filming it for about 10 minutes because it was so cool to watch. Don’t worry, I didn’t create a 10 minute video of the bee, just a 35 second one, but I wanted to show it to you along with the photos of the poppies. While at Thanksgiving Point last week I photographed a lot of tulips. So, since they are pretty I thought I would post some of the images here. Everyday I think I told my mom I had a new favorite.
