Boston Buildings: St. John the Evangelist Church

Boston Buildings: St. John the Evangelist Church

While trying to find an antiques store on Mass Ave, we ran across this building, St. John the Evangelist Church. It happened to be near a bus stop we waited at for about 10 minutes so I thought I’d take some pictures. I don’t know anything about the church (I actually looked up the name of it on Google Maps after the fact). It just looked pretty! I thought the teal door and the blue windows were intriguing. The lines of the handrails also caught my attention.

I will most likely be posting a lot of pictures of buildings and housesĀ I come across. They won’t necessarily be places that everyone would want to visit so I’ve created a new section called Boston Buildings. The buildings may not only be in Boston proper but they’ll be from the surrounding areas as well. If you want to look at either the Boston Buildings section or the Things to See in Boston section specifically, just take a look at the “Categories” section on the side bar of the blog or at the bottom of the page.
